GHS Coated Boomers are manufactured from high quality nickel plated steel wire, which is thinly coated with a clear synthetic material using a finely regulated process. This unique technology coats the outer wires which are then wrapped around a high quality core wire producing a string that has outstanding extended performance life with powerful tone.

The plain steel strings are also coated to a give a balanced feel to the whole string set.

The GHS manufacturing facility is 100% humidity-controlled to ensure factory freshness in every air-tight Fresh Pack that produced. And the new coating should mean that your favorite Boomers will last longer and keep their sound better than ever, making them ideal for hard-gigging guitarists!
