British manufacturer Rotosound Music Strings is 50 years old in 2008 and to reflect life in the 21st Century has decided it's
time for a facelift. The famous Rotosound Lion, a mainstay for many years, is to be
replaced with a grungy, funkier feel and a clear to read, concise box front. Their entire packaging
range has been revamped, but keeps the colour coding system adopted in the 1990’s. So
Swing Bass 66 Steel boxes are still orange and, R10 Roto Yellows are indeed, still yellow.

The new packaging will be phased in from February 2008, shipments will in some cases, still carry the lion box until
existing stocks diminish.

Rotosound will be promoting the new branding (and indeed their half century milestone) with extensive
magazine advertising, and via the internet.
